• All Scripture is the inspired, inerrant Word of God

  • 1 Peter 1:18-19 “We know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed…but with the precious blood of Christ, a Lamb without blemish or defect.

 

• Heaven is ours as a free gift of God's love through faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ 

  • John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

 

• Faith comes through the Word of God

  • Romans 10:17 “Faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through the Word of Christ.

 

• Baptism takes away our sins and gives us faith in Jesus 

  • Acts 2:38 “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” 

 

• Holy Communion takes away our sins and strengthens our faith in Jesus

  • Matthew 26:26-28 “While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins."

 

• We have complete peace through faith in Jesus

  • Romans 5:1 “Since we have been justified (declared righteous) through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ!”
