AdulT bible class

"Faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through the Word of Christ." (Romans 10:17)

At Gethsemane, we have Bible Class for adults every Sunday after the Divine Service.  During Bible Class, we study the Scriptures.  As we are studying the Scriptures, the Holy Spirit is at work in us, giving us the life that Jesus won for us by his death and resurrection.

We study a variety of topics during our Sunday morning Bible Class.  Currently, we are going through the Heidelberg Disputation.  The Heidelberg Disputation is a series of 28 theses, written by Martin Luther for debate in 1518.  These theses center on the themes of sin and grace, faith and free will and make a clear distinction between theologians of glory and theologians of the cross.  By studying these 28 theological theses, we will gain a clearer understanding of how we are saved by the grace of God alone and gain some insights on how we can proclaim Salvation by grace alone in our world today.

So all of you are invited to come to Bible Class after the Divine Service to learn more about your Savior Jesus.  It runs from 10:45am-11:45am.  If you have any questions about Bible Class, please contact Pastor Frey at 816-246-5192 or email him at pastordanfrey@gmail.com
